The longest holiday is the stangest holiday.
It has no respect, well, not for me.
It promises to be long and warm,
Fun, and exciting.
But either Summer's clock has broken down,
Or it has a cruel sense of mischief.

Oh, he heats things up, alright.
When we're at school.
Oh, he makes sunbathers brown, alright.
When we're in the classroom.
So we all rejoice when we're freed, at last.
And then it rains.
Or he changes places with winter.
Or he makes it so hot that you frazzle.
* * *
Those summers last for years,
Just like we were hoping.
Then.
Now, we can't wait to be back in school.
Yes, we were going mad from the heat.

Once in a while, Summer's clock go to the menders.
Once in a while, Summer keeps his promises.
It's warm,
Fun, and exciting.
Summer should go to another menders.
Because when the clock is 'fixed',
It's made worse.
The clock goes 10 times faster.
