In Part 1, Alan, Jane, Sophie, and Chris, all brothers and sisters, go down a secret tunnel they discover, but are captured by a giant . . .
So in Part 2, ideas are brought through from a few of the Foursome - only none worked . . .
However, by Part 3, the kids are desprate - so far none of the ideas have worked, and they've only got one idea left, from Chris - the youngest . . .
Bravely, Chris, as it was his idea, and anyway, the others, though older than him, were far to scared to open their mouths, bravely stepped forward.
"We'd like to be your friends."
"Would you? Would you really? Oh please, if you're really sure, I'll set you free, promise!" he paused, dramatically. "But on one condition. Only if you come back, ever so often. Please!"
"We promise," vowed Alan solemnly. "Now, where's the exit?"
They all laughed, and Fifo lifted them gently to the exit. Almost as soon as his gigantic head disappeared down the trap door, their mother appeared.
"My goodness, you ARE dirty. Go and wash before tea. Go on, hurry!"
They all looked at each other in amazement, worry, and confusion too!
"Hasn't she missed us?" muttered Jane in shocked disappointment.
"We'll talk later," whispered Alan. "Us boys will come into your room as soon as we're in bed."
So, after tea, when they were all in their pyjamas, Alan and Chris went into the girl's room.
"We've decided," Alan stated importantly. "That Fifo time is much, much faster than our time. Say, 9 Fifo weeks to one of our afternoons?"
They all agreed, and on further discussion, decided that they would visit Fifo the next time they where here in this holiday house. After all, it would not be a good idea to be on the wrong side of Fifo again!
